D J Ammermann & Partners was founded in June 1983 by Dieter Ammermann. Dieter selected a small group of European companies who he felt would work well in the Australian market. He managed and grew the business successfully until he retired in July 1998.
In 1998 Thomas Schaefer continued Dieter’s successful business with Ammermann Partners. He worked together with the existing partners as well as introducing several other European and American companies which extended Ammermann’s portfolio in Australia and New Zealand.
On 30th June 2019 Thomas Schaefer announced his retirement and handed over the reins to Richard Sagar who had already been with the company for almost 10 years.
Richard, who is pleased to announce the new company name of Ammermann Pty Ltd, comes with an extensive background in the cement and minerals industry since the age of 16.
Richard continues the Ammermann relationship with all of our current partners and today we can offer a portfolio which encompasses most technologies found in the cement industry and downstream precast concrete plants. In addition to this we also supply equipment to the ports and terminals sector as well as wood and biomass.
Most recently Ammermann are also working very closely in the liquid storage industry.
We are proud to cooperate with the companies listed who are each in their field of activity well known specialists and are committed to provide professional support to our clients and our overseas partners alike.
