Grinding Media

Grinding media is used to convert kinetic energy into comminution work, Material quality, shape design and weight determine the effective grinding capacity and hence the full efficiency grade, 

ALLMAX®-grinding balls are used in grinding installations operated in closed and open circuit:

• High-tensile matrix with carbide portion by multiple heat-treatment.
• Exact round shape by horizontal cast moulding process.
• Cylebs are mainly used in open circuit installations without separator.
• Special geometry resp. shape with high component density.
• Therefore high finish product fineness.
• Grinding balls made out of ceramic or aluminum oxide are used for iron-free grinding, e.g. for white cement, unhydrated lime.
• Minimal impurity of material to be ground.
• Long lifetimes.
