SINGLE-SHAFT BATCH-TYPE MIXER
IBAU mixers of type IB-M operate according to the hurling principle. In a cylindrical, horizontally positioned mixing drum, exchangeable mixing tools are mounted on a rotating shaft. The number, alignment and geometrical shape of these mixing tools is adopted in such a way that the particles of the product are dispersed in the entire chamber of the mixer and forced to move in direction of the outlet. The mixing effect is increased by separately driven, high-speed rotors which, interacting with the mixing tools, eliminate agglomerations in the mixed product. At an ultimately low power consumption, IBAU HAMBURG mixers of type IB-M ensure the homogenous mix even of minute quantities of powdered or liquid components such as additives, colouring pigments, etc. in a minimum time and with hardly any residues. Throughput capacities range from 55 t/h to 180 t/h, at gross volumes of 2.5 m³ up to 8.9 m³.
