Mill diaphragms

So far, much more than 6,000 mill diaphragms have been installed in grinding systems of well-known mill and plant suppliers, or even in our own mills, A mill diaphragm divides the tube mill into single compartments where the feed material is ground and/or dried, For each individual application, Christian Pfeiffer offers you special solutions:

Mill diaphragms are exposed to high loads and stresses and so Christian Pfeiffer developed the concept of the Monobloc® support structure,

All mill diaphragms are equipped with slotted and backside plates made of heat-treated rolled steel. The following advantages result compared to plates made out of cast alloy:
