Refractory Technology
Cement is at the heart of the Refratechnik-Group. This is demonstrated by almost 60 years of experience in this field. Today, more than 2000 cement rotary kilns in more than 100 countries on earth are supplied with Refratechnik products. This gives a total of ca. 350 000 tons, which are moved annually!
More than one thousand employees of Refratechnik and its subsidiaries world-wide are on hand on a daily basis for this purpose.
Shaped Refractory
To meet the globally increasing demand for cement, high output, energy-saving firing systems have been developed in the industrialized countries and introduced throughout the world. One of the primary results of these developments is the precalciner kiln with a short rotary kiln section. The use of alternative fuels has also taken on a new significance. Keeping pace with this technology requires suitable refractory products and lining systems: the conditions inside the kiln are a determining factor of its service life.
Shaped refractory products
In constant efforts to intensify customer service and improve products, Refratechnik have developed innovative refractory concrete grades. These low cement castables (LCC) are state of the art products in refractory technology and meet all the demands of processing and service life.
In order to achieve a good service life, even under the harshest conditions, it is most essential that the castables be installed correctly. Our supervisors are on hand to provide technical assistance and supervision during installation.
The castables are produced in our plants in Gornal/Spain and Zibo/China, and production is subject to the strict demands of DIN EN ISO 9001 and 14001.
