Belt / Apron Scales

For easy installation into 3rd party conveyors built for rugged use and outdoor environment such as quarries, gravel processing, mining, cement, fertiliser and chemical processing plants.

Hasler’s range of belt scales is composed of Smart Belt Scales (SBS) and Large Belt Scales (LBS) for belt conveyors and Smart Apron Scale (SAS) for apron conveyors.

SBS

The Smart Belt Scale is a conveyor belt scale specially designed for rugged outdoor environments such as quarries, gravel processing and mining. It is also well suited for any manufacturing process using conveyor belts including cement, fertiliser, chemical, tobacco, argro-food, etc. It is designed for easy installation which can be done by the customer’s own maintenance staff.

  • Accuracy ± 0.25-0.5 %
  • Discharge totalisation
  • No field calibration ever required (with digital load cells)
  • Easy installation thanks to state of the art mechanical design
  • High performances
  • A single model adapts to all conveyor types and a wide range of widths
  • Easy alignment of the weighbridge
  • No special tooling required
  • Total prewired with cables and connectors supplied for error free installation
  • All operational parameters are password protected with 2 levels of security (hardware and software).

LBS

The Large Belt Scale is a conveyor belt scale specially built for outdoor environment in surface mines on belt equipment and mine equipment. It is possible to install the LBS in all known conveyor types (also garlands stations).

  • Accuracy from ± 0.5 %
  • Discharge totalisation
  • No field calibration ever required due to 100% digital load cells
  • Easy installation thanks to state of the art mechanical design
  • Flexible and multi variant construction
  • Easy maintenance and commissioning
  • Suitable for highest speeds up to 7.0 m/s
  • Flow rates up to 20,000 t/h and counting
  • Low maintenance
  • Suitable for all conveyor types

SAS

The Smart Apron Scale (SAS) is an apron conveyor belt scale. It allows to check the real production of the kiln and to determine the ratio between raw meal, clinker and combustibles.

  • Accuracy ± 1%
  • Two 100% digital SFTTM  load cells with high resolution (1:1,000,000)
  • Essential information for determination of the clinker production
  • Universal design for all apron conveyor types
  • High performances
  • Design is individually adapted for the existing apron conveyor
  • For steel plate or deep drawn bucket conveyors
  • Installation in horizontal (preferred) or inclined part
  • Optional hot temperature design for up to 150°C
